Good Mourning
Oh my good gollie gosh.
I am updating this thing for the first time in almost a year.
Wackadoodles.
So, Warped was on Sunday. It was BRILLZZZ.
Best thing about the after effects= being slightly (okay, insanely) obsessed with Alkaline Trio after not listening them for a couple of years.
My sunburn is crazy and peely. My chin scab (which I got during Bring Me the Horizon, thanks guys) is slowly healing.
Other than that....

Easy Lucky Free
College can just suck it. Suck it hard.
It's so stressful and there is just so much to do. ARGH!
I went into this with a point, but I have forgotten what it is.
Oh, we got our peer partners, I have two and they are both AMAZING!
So stoqued.
Erm...
I wish there were more interesting people at my school....or at least better looking people.
OH! New ARTTM song is just amazing, I was listening to it all day. Just did the pre-order package too, stoqued on that.
The new Nevershoutnever! is going to be amazing as well, the little democlip of Fifteen is just unbelievable sweet.
These fires just blow. The being out side+breathing is not a good situation.
I'm trying to finish reading Fight Club, honestly, it's not a very good book, which is surprising because the movie is phenomenal, but hey, what can you do.

Long time, no see Santi
I was so good at updating this in the beginning, now I just suck.
I started school two weeks ago and everyday since the first day, I've had at least 3-6 hours worth of homework. Sucks.
I was planning on having a Tarantino marathon this weekend, it slowly turned into me watching 3/4 of Pulp Fiction on Friday, falling asleep, and then doing homework the rest of the weekend. IFLML.
Whatever, I'll finish it tonight and try to squeeze in True Romance and/or Natural Born Killers.
Seeing Inglourious Basterds on Tuesday with the grandparents, shall be fun.
259 days until I'm 18, simultaneously freaking out/being super excited.
October is going to be such an awesome month. Seeing ARTTM/The Maine, Z-day, Halloween, and something else that is secret :).
Then, in May I'm graduating/turning 18, so awesome.
Senior breakfast is in a few days.
This post has not point. Honestly, I'm just putting off doing the rest of my homework.

She had the most amazing...
I was re-reading some of my work and I found that my favorite line I have ever written may be:
"The potent scent of youth undulated from every crevice of the cold concrete that she had grown to know as home."
I love it.
Yup, that's it.

Go!Go!Go!
I haven't updated in forever. Lame.

So, last Sunday was Warped. I'd say it was the best of all the years I've gone.
I liked A Rocket to the Moon before this, but now I love them. Such nice guys and amazing performers.
I've been told I look like Halvo, I'm not sure though. Eh.
Plus, I want to raid Nick Santino's closet. Which is weird, cause I'm a girl. But, hey what can you do.
I think I might put a few Rocket photos at the end of this post, which might be coming sooner than you or I think.
Erm....The Maine has the worst fans EVER.
Nonetheless, I bought a 'I partied my teeth out with John Ohhhh, The Maine' shirt.
Oh, and back to Nick, he has some of the raddest tattoos ever. (ie: ET)
Yup.
Oooh. I also gained a ton of respect for Sing it Loud, really cool guys.

Look ^ I did add a couple pictures.

SNootchie Bootchies ya little Nootchie
It's been almost a month since I last posted. So, I can safely say I am overdue.
I've just been so busy. I have the SAT on Saturday, plus all my AP tests in a couple weeks.
It's amazing how quickly this year has gone- only 6 weeks until the end of school- weird.
6 weeks until I am a senior in high school. Scary.
We're going to Disneyland in Yes I Can in a couple weeks. Good stuff.
I'm really loving Michael Jackson at the moment. I'd argue that Man in the Mirror is one of the greatest songs EVER.
People don't really appreciate his musical genius and they over exaggerate mistaken events. It's sad that one of the greatest artists of all time has become a typical joke. It's old really.
Oh, I am loving Kevin Smith...again. I guess that's what reading his stuff will do to you. Whatev. The man's a genius and thoroughly entertaining. Plus, he named his kid Harley Quinn- genius.
MJ auctioned off a shite load of his stuff- I want some of it. Especially the clothes, they are just so awesome.

Soul Glow Activatur
So, today the 8th graders that are coming to Yes I Can at our school visited today. They are amazing! I hung out with them at lunch and they're really sweet kids. I'm super excited for next year. Let me think... I met: William, Eric, Justin, Alex, Nick, Jose, Bryce, and Griffin. I think that's it....
How cool is the name Griffin?! Totally cool.
I think that's it for now.
Oh, and SOMEHOW I have 1,012 views on my blog. Which means someone is reading it. So, I see you lurkers. Leave a comment or send me a message on Twitter, ya know?

Every 15 Minutes
Today, it was Every 15 Minutes at my school. Basically, it is a program to teach kids about the dangers of drunk driving. It is totally realistic and really upsetting. Every 15 minutes for the entire day, they announce that someone has died on the loud speaker, they then play a video obituary for the person.
In the middle of the day, a 911 call comes on and says that there has been an accident. All Juniors and Seniors then go outside and witness two cars completely totaled with kids inside. 2 Fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, and a coroner come to the scene. There is a police officer announcing everything that happens, he announces the names of the kids as they are "found" and announce what their situation is, deceased/critical/etc...They take the kids that are pronounced deceased in the coroner's car and the kids that are in critical condition to the hospital, where they try to "revive" them. Then, the "drunk driver" is given a Breathalyzer test and numerous other tests and taken into custody.
It is really realistic and heart wrenching.
Take a look at the video from my school from two years ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbeZtE-9dg0

Gypsyhook
Man, what have I been doing?
Why have I not updated this in like a year?
Why am I asking so many questions?
Okay, so I'm all caught up on homework and what not. So, how about a little Q and A. (Inspired by my good friend (well, not really) The Butcher)
Q: So, Amanda, you're doing a Q and A, nice ob stealing Butcher's idea.
A: Well, ya know, that's how I rollll.
Q: Why did you use so many L's?
A: Apparently, in the internet world, the more extra letters you add to your words, the cooler you are.
Q: I see, so you're looking to be an internet celebrity.
A: If you call the coolest person on the planet an internet celebrity, than yes.
Q: I thought you said you already were the coolest person on the planet?
A: Oh. Well, yeah, duh.
Q: So, are you trying to argue with me or something?
A: Not so much argue as prove that I am right.
Q: Oh, so that's the way it is.
A: Well, yeah.
Q: You suck at Q and A's.
A: I know.

Wake up, think fast.
Wow. I haven't updates in like forever.
I started posting on SLH- fianlly. I'm up to like 257 posts. I'm awesome.
I'm seeing The Academy Is... (Actually, just William Eugene Beckett Jr and Adam T. Siska) on Saturday. It's going to be epic. The place, Jerry's Pizza, holds like less than 2oo people and they still haven't sold out. I'm totally hanging out afterward. Good times.

Yes We Did

Today is a historic day.
Today is a day that a dream has come true.
Today is the beginning of the reformation of our nation.
Today is the day that has made me proud to be an American.
Not because of one man, but because of a nation united.
A nation that has come together to make change that matters.
No longer will we live in embarrassment.
But, rejoice because we have another chance.
A chance to become the United States of America once again.
So, I say thank you President Obama, the best has yet to come.

Nice legs, daisy dukes
My Photofinish order finally came.
1. 3OH!3 Bracelet
2. Anthony Green Tote
3. 3OH!3 Headband
The headband makes me look like a total baller, it's awesome.
I don't remember if I posted this already, but I twittered something Nat, but not really specifically to him, just in general about 3OH!3, whatever. The next day I look and he has sent me a message telling me to make sure I go buy my tickets and that it's going to be so fun. Mind you, I am the only one he has ever sent a message to. I look, and like 300 people have sent him messages. Erm...how freaking exciting is that?
Now, he for sure has to stay later so we can hang out.

Check This Juliet!
So, I thought this deserved its own post. I thought it was pretty funny.
Basically, Travis (singer of We The Kings) was on a plane and some kid a couple rows in front of himwas blaring Skyway Avenue (a We The Kings song) from his headphones. The kid looked at him and didn't even realize who he was looking at--the singer of the band he was listening to! What a dork!
Trav posted it on his twitter and I thought it deserved a re-post.
Call Me Your Darkness
My wallpaper is currently a delicious mess of Nathaniel Motte. I'm way too excited to be seeing him (well, them) in a couple months, then a couple months after that, and a couple months after that, plus possibly numerous more times after August. Hopefully we'll be able to hang out longer this time, as he is really a sweet guy, really hilarious, and super fun to talk to. Plus, he always smells good, even if he is dripping with sweat- weird. It must be his Ballerado blood.
Anyway, I think I am in love with Bones. That show is amazing. I got Season 1 for Christmas. Thanks you Santa! (Daddy)
Surprisingly, Seeley Booth is not my favorite character, Jack Hodgins is, But Booth comes close, as does Zack. I miss Zack, I hope they'll throw him back in to at least a few episodes this season. Circus premiere on Thursday! W00t!
Lost! January 21st, sucka! So.freaking.excited.
End of story.

The Venus in Furs
I just recently watched Velvet Goldmine, a film by Todd Haynes. I really wasn't expecting anything going into it, but damn was I surprised.
I have to admit, before I say anything else, that there was so much wrong with the movie. It just wasn't made very well. But, there was too much right with it for me no to love it.
In short, David Bowie and Iggy Pop references, Oscar Wilde, Glam!, glitter, HOT HOT GORGEOUS cast, phenomenal wardrobe, spectacular makeup, and to top it all off- one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard.
The film makes me want to wear sparkly dresses, feather boas, neon platforms, and makes me want to sprinkle glitter on everything.
I really wish Brian Slade was a real artist. The few original songs in the movie are nothing short of brilliant. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers' voice was surprisingly amazing and refreshing.
I'm basically obsessed with it now, and have watched it 3 times in the past 5 days. On top of that, I've ordered the physical soundtrack even though I'm able to just download it, which I have done.
Oh, and Brian Slade, although a fictional character, is my new husband- Check That Juliet!

Can't Stop, Won't Stop
So, I've decided that I want to meet these people:
1. William Beckett- I've already met him, but I'd like to have a longer conversation with him.
2. The Butcher- Same as Bill
3. The Siska Brothers- Adam=same as Bill. But, jason seems awesome, I don't know.
4. John O'Callaghan- I've heard nothing but nice things, and he's beautiful.
5. Alex Suarez- Again, I've heard nothing but nice things, and he seems super awesome.
6. Christofer Drew- He's so cute! End of story.
7. Nathaniel Motte- I've met him numerous times, but I'd like to meet him again. (I'll be seeing him atleast twice within the next 6 months, hopefully more)
8. Kevin Smith- The man is a genius.
9. David Blaise- I don't even listen to This Providence, but he's too cute for words.
Eh, that's all I can think of for now.
For everyone's viewing pleasure, photos:

So, the upcoming week is the last, and this semester is done. I'm excited, happy, frightened, and nervous. Finals are scary, and I really would rather not take them. I have so much to do:
- Read Chapters 7-9 in my US Book- check.
- Re-read my entire AP Environmental Book.- check
- Write my 'Smoke Signals' analysis- check.
- Write my reflection
- Do a 9 page packet for history
- Do 70 problems for math.
- Plan a party- check.
- Do 6 pages of Spanish -check.
- Practive Test for AP Lang
- Practice Test for APES
No, I'm not kidding- I really have to do all this. I should probably get to it.

To Sisky, From Santa: Awesome!
I cannot wait until Winter break. It's almost here. 11 days of school left, 4 of which are minimum days.
Twitter is awesome, I can officially say that I love it.
Erm, I really love cream soda, and I love to wear scarfs.
I also love the new TAI... song, Winter Passing, and you should buy it from iTunes if you haven't already.
This post really has no point, I just haven;t posted in a while and wanted to.
