Wake up, think fast.

Wow. I haven't updates in like forever.
I started posting on SLH- fianlly. I'm up to like 257 posts. I'm awesome.
I'm seeing The Academy Is... (Actually, just William Eugene Beckett Jr and Adam T. Siska) on Saturday. It's going to be epic. The place, Jerry's Pizza, holds like less than 2oo people and they still haven't sold out. I'm totally hanging out afterward. Good times.

To Sisky, From Santa: Awesome!

I cannot wait until Winter break. It's almost here. 11 days of school left, 4 of which are minimum days.
Twitter is awesome, I can officially say that I love it.
Erm, I really love cream soda, and I love to wear scarfs.
I also love the new TAI... song, Winter Passing, and you should buy it from iTunes if you haven't already.
This post really has no point, I just haven;t posted in a while and wanted to.

Shake it, shake it like you bouts to get paid!

So, here it is: Winter Passing. What a freaking brilliant song. I seriously can't wait until TAI... tour again. It's going to be too wonderful. I can't wait to hear it recorded as Bill wants it, it's going to be genius- as what he writes always is.

My Mondayeyes bracelet is phenomenal and inspires me to write whenever I look at it. It might be my favorite thing that I wear. Eh, maybe not. I do love my Neon Body Style shirt.

Erm, just for fun:

I'd have to agree with Bill on this one, Butcher deserves a serious award- he is extremely talented, and I respect him for just that.

Oh, and I really want to win the newest SLH contest. I never win anything and I'm pretty sure the prize is Butcher artwork- which I really want.

Remember Maine?

So, I'm in love....with my Mondayeyes bracelet. It is too amazing.
I am also in love with TAI...'s new song, "Winter Passing." I mean, what a brilliant piece of work it is:
Its winter again, a white washed and frozen sky…I came to the door, eyes maladjusted from the light, but your voice rang clear. You said, “For all I thought I’d ever need, its hard to face the holidays without.”Well I’ve left my last message on your machineIts hard to face the holidays when you’re looking for the words to say.So you’ve found a friend. You spend all your cold nights with him,but if i was there, then I’d wonder why you still wear my jacket closedwith traces of my scent.I’d say, “For all I thought I’d ever need, its hard to face the holidays without.”Well I’ve left my last message on your machineIts hard to face the holidays when you’re looking for the words to say.So stay with me here. Nose to nose, cold enough to see as our breath slowly escapes and exchanges from my lungs to yours, from your mouth to mine. For all I thought I’d ever need, its hard to face the holidays without.Well I’ve left my last message on your machineit’s hard to face the holidays when you’re looking for the words to say. When you’re looking for the words to say.
Also, I think I might have a serious crush on Peter Pan...yeah.

Korova Milk Bar

So, I'm becoming impatient for my Mondayeyes bracelet.
I really want it.
I can't wait to see TAI... again, who knows when that will be, but it gives me something to look forward to.
But, they deserve a break, hopefully they will resume touring early next year.
I don't know- I think this post is completely pointless.
I do not want to go to school today, I'm tired and feel like crap.
I have a feeling today is going to really blow.
But, eh- let's be positive!

Back to the future much?

So, I've just uncovered something truly magical- William Beckett's blog from when he was like 18-19. He has developed so much as a writer, and definitely as a person as well. It's almost funny to see the difference. There's some crazy stuff that gives me some crazy ideas.
Needless to say, I can't read the entirety of each blog- but the parts I am able to view are more than sufficient.
My day has officially been made...no, my week. Thanks Beckett.
Tomorrow are taste tests and Trevor's BBQ.
Can anyone guess what I'm going to be for Halloween?

Neon Body Style

We stealin' shit
Even if it from our friends
We the pimps.
Do what it takes to make ends.
Like scented candles and beds.
Cause Neon Body Style always wins.
Alright.

The Harsh Light of Day.

So, I started posting on Mondayeyes (thank you, Mr. Beckett) and I just thought I'd post the same things in both places. So, here's my first one. I actually really liked how it came out.
As she strained to open her eyes, stained with worry and aged by her countless doubts, she realizes the only time she feels whole is in this second, the second when she barely wakes up. The second where no one is there to judge or belittle her ideals, beliefs, and ideas. But, the sizzling heat of the newly risen sun burst through her lightly tinted bedroom window, gracing her with the horrendous thought of reality. She had to become what she always hated and hate what she always wanted to be.

Bat Darts

Two in a row, Amanda, you're crazy. I know, I know.

Bat Darts=awesome.

What the hell are Bat Darts Amanda? You may be asking right now. Well, the answer is easy- who cares? Just the sound of them makes them awesome.

Okay, I'm done for now...
